Our trustees are a vital part of who we are – offering guidance, governance and a deep commitment to the families and communities we serve. We are proud to be led by trustees who bring a wealth of experience, integrity and care to their role, helping us deliver the best possible support.

For many years Elizabeth ran her own PR company specialising in restaurants and hotels. Elizabeth met Janet, the PWL founder, when her daughter started going to the wonderful children’s workshops she ran in the holidays, which was the foundation for her working with Pregnant in West London. Elizabeth has been Chair of Pregnant in West London since its formation in 2020.
Andrea became a trustee of Pregnant in West London after retiring. Before this she worked as an Early Years Educator in a local authority Nursery School for more than 30 years. As a parent and granny, she appreciates the support and expertise the classes provide to prospective parents.
James is a barrister specialising in revenue law. He was introduced to Pregnant in West London by his fellow trustee, Guy, and immediately saw the value in the work that the charity was doing – providing free help and education to people becoming parents for the first time. James is treasurer of Pregnant in West London.
Guy has lived in West London most of his life where he brought up his three kids; one daughter and twin boys. Janet has been there every step of the way and is the main reason he’s so thrilled to be involved with Pregnant in West London. He has worked as a film editor in the documentary field for more years than he cares to remember.
Alex is a father of two young girls, living in West London. He became a trustee at the charity after joining a course before his second child was born – it helped give him the knowledge and confidence he wished he’d had first time round! He was delighted to join the Board of Trustees to support the charity as it helps parents feel more prepared for the experience of birth. Alex is Secretary of Pregnant in West London.
